As a small business, we believe in supporting other businesses that most closely align with our values. While the businesses we partner with vary in size, they have many things in common. Most started as a small business and strongly support their local community. And, perhaps most importantly, they’re all real nice folks to work with.
Jael and Dan Rattigan began their enduring love affair with chocolate after packing up their life and heading south to Costa Rica. In Costa Rica, they bought a cacao plantation, opened a successful cafe and honed their chocolatey expertise.
Now Jael and Dan serve Asheville some of the best bean-to-bar chocolate the world has to offer. What makes it even better? As a certified B Corporation, they’re committed to doing good while making our taste buds happy.

After learning the secrets of mountain moonshiners, Troy Ball, the female founder of Asheville Distilling Company, created products that celebrated the best of whiskey making tradition. Their acclaimed American Whiskeys are made with heirloom grains, pure mountain water, and are cut to use only the hearts of each distillation.
We love Dynamite Coffee- the way it tastes, the values behind it, and the fact that it’s 100% certified organic and fair trade. Josh Gibbs and Andy Gibbons are committed to their customers, growers, the environment, and each other. Their mission is to track down the best coffee in the world, pay the growers a fair and living wage, and then bring it here to Asheville to roast it. By concentrating on serving their immediate community in the Southeast, they are able to roast in small batches, ensuring Dynamite Coffee is always fresh, from farm to cup.
